Introduction

The Bajoran Free Nation as it exists on Among The Stars TrekMUSH (ats.trekmush.org:1701) is a neutral Empire located in the Beta Quadrant. Similar to its portrayal in the Paramount television show "Deep Space Nine", the Bajoran Free Nation is focused out of Deep Space Nine, a Roleplay center for the MUSH.

Because of the history of the BFN on ATS over the MUSH's more than fifteen years of existance, we do allow some Federation races, providing their background explains their presence here. Players may join in on the action as Command and Crew of Deep Space Nine (Pending available positions) and the Bajoran Defense Force to help ensure their peoples' freedom from those who would possess them and their gateway to the Gamma Quadrant, play a Monk or Vedek within the Vedek Assembly to help oversee the spiritual wellbeing of the Bajoran people by interpreting prophecies and holding the various festivals, or can participate in the leadership of the Bajoran Free Nation by way of the Council of Ministers.

All leadership positions are subject to admin approval.

In part due to quota restrictions, we do now allow privately owned ships or bases. We also do not allow general civilians within the Bajoran Free Nation, nor is this org intended to allow for 'independent' individuals. Although there is always room for merchants familiar with ATS's coded economy, these merchants should be trading to fill the Nation's coffers rather than building personal fortunes.

The Bajoran Free Nation is in need of Bajoran Defense Force personel, both to fill Chief slots and serve as crew aboard BSB Deep Space Nine and to command and crew ships and fightercraft. Merchants are needed to assist with trade-although you can trade while also being in the BDF.
